Due to teen pregnancy and my anti-social behavior in the past I have 1 friend to my name.
I used to have 2 but 1 of them decided my father made a better friend than I did.

I'm loyal, protective and blunt.
I see LJ friends as real friends and feel for them.
I'm an active poster and commenter.
I comment pretty much every entry because I always have something to say and I'm not shy about saying it.

Bonjour. I'm Amy. 22. A girl...obviously and residing in Derbyshire when at home and Manchester when I am at uni. I'm at Manchester Met uni in my fourth year training to be a primary school teacher. It's hard work but will be worth it in the end. I hope!

I have a lovely boyfriend called Tom who I have been with for 14 months. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me and no doubt, I will post entries either about my undying love for him or about times when he is just pissing me off. Haha.

I have just had a friend clear out and gotten rid of people who didn't update their journals or had taken no interest in chatting with me in the duration we had been added as friends. However, this may have also been down to me lacking in comments what with being busy on placement and what not. HOWEVER. This is to change. It's a new year and a new start so I am looking to add people who are regular updaters and comment once in a while. I don't expect comments on EVERY SINGLE POST but comments now and again would be lovely and I will try to do the same.

I'll try to keep this short as I hate it when I have to read large blocks of text [check out me splitting it into mini paragraphs to try and keep your attentions.... :P SNEAKY SNEAKY.]

Hello all! My name is Stixy. I'm 21, live in Central California, and have a boyfriend of 2.5 years. I spend a lot of time thinking about what I would do if there was a zombie invasion.

I really dig indie music, adventures, traveling, and generally being carefree. I can talk your ear off, but I can really listen too. I'm going to school, though I'm taking a year off to work. I want to be an English teacher (preferably at a community college). I'm sort of crass yet mellow, if that makes any sense. I can laugh about almost anything, even something tragic or embarrassing for myself. I'm sort of child-like in a way and I am VERY forgetful. My favorite book of all time is Peter Pan and my favorite movie is Harold and Maude. I love Ray Bradbury (I met him last year!) and dystopian fiction in general. I have feminist leanings, I'm a general "fag-hag" and I am proud to come from a working-class family. I like white daisies and my favorite smell is burning wood.

I want more Internet friends and LJ is perfect for that. I prefer to talk to young women around my age, as I don't have many female friends and I feel that I am missing out. Bonus points if you have Instant Messenger and you're a night owl.

i've been here a while now but not posted yet so thought now was the time to do so lol.

I'm 19 (nearly 20), and female. I live in derbyshire.

I work part time as a waitress and am currently looking at going to university next october :).  My interests include music, reading, films, and spening time with friends and family. The music i listen to varies usually depending on how i am feeling and as well as listening to music i also enjoy singing along and can play the saxophone. I am mostly into fantasy or comedy films as well as musicals of course lol. Some of my favourite films are: Harry potter and Twilight.

I am a friendly and caring person and although i am not 100% confident my confidence is growing on a daily basis. I love meeting new people and talking about psychology, philosophy, fate and ghosts etc. I always find it interesting to hear what people think about those subjects :).

So yeah lol thats basically me.

Ive been on here for a while, but actually still have no friends :(

Im 21 years old, live in England (oh the joy). I work in a Pet shop, although not the best place ever to work its actually sometimes fun. I love animals, but sadly now, only own one cat. I used to have so many pets but my parents are a lil sour when it comes to replacing so to speak. My cat though, is my baby :D Hes 4 years old and just a plain black cat who is annoying, naughty and nasty hehe. But I love him.

My intersets, other than animals is, cinema. I love going to watch the latest movies. Twilight and New Moon :D Although amazing, the books are way better. Yes I like to read. I enjoy reading a good book now and again. I enjoy the odd random drives in my car, its nice sometimes to just be on your own and able to think about things. I do like seeing my friends, when they've got the time for me.  When it comes to music, i'll listen to pretty much anything, from Michael Buble, to Paramore and Taylor Swift.

Im pretty much a nice person to know. I'm a good listener, caring and funny. Ive got my random querky ways. I get my general moods, my depressing days and my hyper days :D

I posted here a few weeks ago and got a few friends out of it. But then I thought, you can never have too many friends, right? So I decided to post here again, hope nobody minds :)

I'm 19 and I'm from Denmark. I work at Netto which is a supermarket - it's not my dreamjob, not at all. But I'm currently working there to save up some money so I can travel through Asia and Australia in a few years. That's why I'm hoping I'll win some money on my Christmas calender, haha.

I'm addicted to music. I'm really bad at singing and dancing but I do it anyways. I'm not the only one enjoying it, it seems. A bunch of people always seem to laugh at me when dancing. If I can make them happy, then why not dance even if I suck? :D

I'm beginning to update pretty often, so if you like to leave comments and get some in return, add me?

I've been doing a lot of reading recently and it's made me very anxious to try and start writing again. I really enjoy. and would be looking to write some thing mythology/fantasy based, but the more I research the more I feel like everything has been done. Or, at least that there's a definite pattern in what stories/characters get used. Vampires would be the best example.

I was wondering if anyone had suggestions or knew of any useful resources/places to look that might help me think and possibly widen my options? Grateful wouldn't even cover my response if so.
